Today we received confirmation that Destiny Wind, our proposal for the Hunter offshore wind zone, will not be granted a feasibility licence.

This means that there is no pathway for Destiny Wind to continue and we will now shut the project down.

We thank everyone for their engagement and support during the early stages of Destiny Wind. We were ‘blown away’ by the strong enthusiasm and drive that exists in this dynamic region.

We know there is enormous industrial potential and capacity in the Hunter and look forward to continued conversations with local leaders and businesses about opportunities to be involved in our two Gippsland projects – Star of the South and Kut-Wut Brataualung.

We wish the successful proponent all the best and look forward to following their progress.
