Destiny Wind is a proposed offshore wind project that would power Australia’s grid when it’s most needed, create thousands of jobs, invest in Hunter suppliers and create a lasting legacy of clean energy for future generations.
In November 2023 we applied for a feasibility licence for Destiny Wind within the Hunter declared offshore wind area.
The Australian Government has made preliminary decisions on the granting of feasibility licences for offshore wind projects off the Hunter.
The current preliminary decision is that Destiny Wind has not received a licence.
